Climate change, rising global temperature, environment degradation, and loss of species are already happening and pose threats to the entire planet. We need to accelerate our efforts to adapt to the forthcoming changes and improve our resilience.

The Bank of Greece in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Green Fund is organizing on Tuesday 24 May 11 am (Athens time) in the framework of the LIFE-IP AdaptInGR project, an online workshop: “Adaptation Finance in Greece: Current challenges and the role of the financial sector”.

The scope of this event is to share experiences on financing adaptation among key actors of the financial system (such as banks, insurance companies, and investors) and other institutions, identify current challenges and highlight potential opportunities for scaling up financing for adaptation.
