The Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEEN) has designated as National Focal Point for Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) of UNFCCC, the National Representative for Climate Change and relevant international cooperation, Member of the Academy of Athens, Prof. Christos Zerefos.
ACE activities and collaborations, both internationally and nationally, aim to promote public access to information, public awareness, education, training and participation of both public and targeted audiences, through everyone's access to climate information.
It is noted that Prof. Christos Zerefos participates in the LIFE-IP AdaptInGR project as Supervisor of the Research Centre for Atmospheric Physics and Climatology of the Academy of Athens and President of Mariolopoulos-Kanaginis Foundation (both project’s partners).
